All House select teams with the exception of the mini-mite and
midget divisions must adhere to MAHA guidelines for the number
of second year players that may be rostered. The term 2nd year
players refers to players whose birthdays fall within the 2nd year
of any 2 year USA Hockey age classification (i.e. for the Mite select
division players born 01/01/00 through 12/31/00 are considered 2nd
year players; players born 01/01/01 through 12/31/01 are considered
1st year players).  The term 2nd year player does not refer to the
number of years playing experience. With reference to the sliding scale
below, a team of 10 players total may have a maximum of 6 players
from the 2nd year of that age classification window.  The sliding scale
is as follows:

# of players: 20 19 18 17 16 15 14 13 12 11 10
Max 2nd year: 13 12 11 10 10  9  9  8  8  7  6
