When entering this tournament, please indicate whether you'd like to play in either Ann Arbor or Detroit. We will honor this request pending availability. Teams will play their round robin game on Friday and Saturday in the city they signed up for. Sunday, teams will crossover between Ann Arbor and Detroit for consolation games, semi-finals, and finals. This format was introduced in 2006 with great success. Divisions for this tournament are typically 8 teams. For divisions of more than 4 teams but less than 8 the above format may change.
The Ann Arbor portion of the tournament will take place at the Arctic Coliseum in Chelsea, MI and Yost Arena in Ann Arbor, MI. The Arctic Coliseum is one of the newest facilities in Southeast Michigan which has recently added a full service restaurant & lounge and can accommodate team meals.  Yost Arena is the home of the University of Michigan hockey team and has limited ice availability.  
Additional arenas may be added.
Please note: As a condition of acceptance to our tournaments, all out-of-town teams must stay at an authorized Big Bear hotel and all rooming list forms should be faxed to the Big Bear tournament office at 248.399.0330.
