How the Double Helix works: In the event that like divisions (i.e. Squirt A) form with 4 teams in each in both Ann Arbor and Detroit then each will play their round robin games in the city they start in. Once the round robin is completed we will then proceed to combine the divisions and the top 2 teams in each division will advance to the semi-finals and the bottom 4 teams will play in the consolation round in either Ann Arbor or Detroit. The advantage of this process is that 2 teams will play a 5th game and the likelyhood that you will play the same team twice is significantly diminished.

Local teams may begin play Friday 1-13.

This Double Helix event will take place at the Melvindale Civic Arena, several suburban Detroit arenas, the Arctic Coliseum in Chelsea, MI., and several Ann Arbor arenas.
